Property Summary
At the Almyra you can enjoy the simple, elegant comfort and the expansive gardens, relax and be pampered all day long, or spread your wings and visit some of the many heritage sites in the area. Following extensive refurbishment (in 2003 & 2004), the Almyra has the feel of a contemporary seaside resort while catering for the needs of the discerning traveller. It is set in eight acres of landscaped gardens with un-obstructed views of the harbour, within walking distance of the castle and close to the House of Dionysos with its stunning mosaics.
All rooms have a Mediterranean feel with custom designed furniture, cool fabrics and state-of-the-art amenities. Equipped with cable and satellite TV, video on demand, in room entertainment centre, including AM/FM radio, high speed internet access with Wi-Fi (wireless) technology, mini-bar, turn down service and hair dryer. Some of the rooms feature CD players and interconnecting facilities are available. Bathrooms include the finest toiletries and bathing amenities. Though functional, sensible and understated, Almyra’s rooms are about comfort, contemporary feel and convenience.

Features
The two freshwater pools were rebuilt to include one especially for children and have sunbathing terraces with complimentary sun beds and parasols. Other facilities include one floodlit tennis court, two golf courses, table tennis, gymnasium, sauna, Jacuzzi and a variety of water sports (seasonaly) such as windsurfing, water-skiing, sailing and scuba diving. Children are also well catered for with the ‘Smiling Dolphin Kiddies Club”, a playroom and a playground as well as their own swimming pool.
The hotel also has the following facilities: Shopping arcade, hairdressers, TV room, babysitting (on request), laundry and dry cleaning services (overnight), Internet access (wireless), and courier services.

Almyra offers a choice of four restaurants - each very different, but each reflecting the tastes of this contemporary seaside resort. Vegetarian options are available in all the restaurants



Notios



Almyra has introduced an exciting and sophisticated concept at Notios, the al fresco à la carte restaurant, which draws upon the purity of Japanese food and reflects the sensuality of Mediterranean taste. The result is original, simple modern cuisine with culinary integrity.



Mosaics



Guests can enjoy lavish buffets meals at Mosaics, which is also where the scrumptious breakfasts are served. Mosaics is the main restaurant of the hotel and the meals are focused on pleasing all taste buds. Featuring a live kitchen, the flavours are varied and the theme of this restaurant is mainly of a Mediterranean / international flavour. The à la carte and selectors menus offer a selection of salads or cold appetizers, fresh meat cuts, seafood display, special à la minute cooking and of course, homemade sweets. Exciting theme nights such as Seafood Market, Asian-Pacific or Cyprus Traditional complete the casual dining experience



Ouzeri



Located at beach level, Ouzeri is Almyra's traditional seasside summertime restaurant, focusing on light Greek snacks and simple local Cypriot dishes. Depending on the weather, the Ouzeri also offers barbeques at night on the beach where it is situated. Closed November to March.



Eauzone



Relax and unwind by the pool with unobstructed views of the sea at the Eauzone Restaurant at AlmyraSpa. Here guests can enjoy a light and trendy Mediterranean cuisine with an Asian twist or refresh themselves with one of our therapeutic tonics and teas. Please note that Eauzone is for adults only over the age of 16, as is all of AlmyraSpa. Opening times are 12:30 - 15:30 daily.



Flavours at Helios



Located on the right side of the lobby by the fireplace.  A lovely setting to enjoy your dinner, with magnificent sea vistas, accompanied by live music on selected evenings



Helios Lounge Bar



Fresh, ground coffee, delicious pastries, cakes and light refreshments are served throughout the day, as well as cocktails and drinks.  A perfect setting to enjoy your sundowners, with a magnificent view overlooking the sea and the Paphos Castle in the distance.

Omakase

Almyra's kitchen is proud to present Almyra style tasting menus with a Japanese-Mediterranean approach. In Japanese the meaning of Omakase  is “trust the chef”. When ordering Omakase you discover the menu as you dine. It becomes a surprise at the table…that’s the name of the game with Omakase. In these multi-course dinners the courses come out one by one. Each course has a different flavour and texture.

When ordering Omakasé you may like to meet the chef the day before you dine to discuss the menu which will best suit your taste. Choose from Kiku Omakase (5 Course Menu), Yanagi Omakase (7 Course Menu) or Sakura Omakase (9 Course Menu).  In Japanese Kiku means chrysanthemum, Yanagi means willow tree, and Sakura is cherry blossom. Bon Appetit!

 

Zen Meze

Zen Meze© is influenced by the ambiance of the Notios area, where the waves come crashing in as the sun meets the horizon. 

Offering meals in the meze style makes the experience more enjoyable for families or large groups. It becomes more than just a meal - it turns into a social event as the guests share the various dishes. The Zen Meze makes use of dishes from the Á la Carte Menu and we serve them in the meze style. As the various dishes are prepared they are placed in the middle of the table and the guests share them together.

Barbeque on the Beach 



Specially for families, this weekly barbeque offers a tasty choice of grilled meat, fish and vegetables, as well as a variety of starters, salads and desserts, on Almyra beach.  Enjoy the sunset and the beach atmosphere, while a guitarist playing Greek music accompanies the meal.
